Our Story
As youngsters in the 1960’s, my brothers Vinnie, Frankie, Rocky, and I worked with my father, aka Jimmy the Greek, to build a successful home improvement business in Easton, Pennsylvania. This might sound cliche, but working with my father in a family owned company taught me how to do things the RIGHT way. Most contractors fail at doing this.
After graduating high school in 1971, I took a job delivering milk to homeowners. Unsatisfied with the position, I joined the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Control Specialist during the Vietnam War. I left the Navy years later with an Honorable Discharge and returned to the home improvement industry.
After working with several companies, I saw an industry that was lacking in Professionalism, Efficiency, and Ethics. Many Deck and Patio builders have delayed project schedules, cut corners, and offer few Custom Options.
I started American Exteriors & Masonry in 2005 with the goal of eliminating the negative experience so many people have with home improvement companies. We are NOT like the vast majority of contractors that show up late, perform shoddy work, and only care about their bottom line. We strongly believe these companies have no place in our industry. They are not in this business to genuinely help people.
